People Illustration // Personal Project

One of my 2020 goals was to try and learn how to draw humans, which is something I’ve always been intimidated by. This was my first time attempting to draw a person in Procreate, and while I still feel like my human drawing skills could use some work, I really enjoyed getting to work on this project and it was a fun way to pass the time in quarantine.

This was my first initial sketch!

Which then turned into my 2nd, more refined sketch.

And my most refined sketch!

Then I decided to add some color! this yellow-green is my favorite color and I wanted to incorporate it somehow. Even though I would like to play around a bit more with the color pallete on this project, I’m super happy with how it turned out overall! My goal was really just to sketch a person.
