Brendan + Lauren | Richmond, Virginia Intimate Wedding Photographer

About 3 weeks ago, Lauren sent me an email about her intimate wedding in Richmond, VA. She told me that she and her fiancé Brandon were getting married in a week at a stunning Airbnb in Church Hill, Richmond. When Lauren sent me her original email, she explained that they put the wedding together in under 3 weeks and that it was going to be a small celebration with their closest family and friends. I am a complete sucker for intimate weddings, so her original email intrigued me a lot. 

Once I met Lauren and Brendan, it was like I had known them for years. Their wedding was a beautiful celebration of their love and it was clear to me that everyone in attendance cared about the two of them deeply. Their family welcomed me in a way that I've never experienced while shooting a wedding before, and I felt so at home with them! Even though it was pulled together in three weeks, their wedding had so many small details that really showcased them as a couple. Couples like these two help me remember why I love what I get to do and why I feel so blessed to capture the happiest moments of other people's lives! I knew these two were a fantastic couple when I saw that they had a make your own macaroni and cheese bar. I mean, seriously? That's the way to my heart. 

The ceremony space at this wedding was literally unreal. I've never seen anything so classic or beautiful, particularly at an indoor venue. 

There was not at dry eye at this ceremony, it was absolutely beautiful! 

The view of the city from the park across the street was stunning!

This dog tag was in honor of their sweet pup, Snickers, who was supposed to be their flower girl but unfortunately passed a few weeks before the wedding day.
