Bekah and Brendan | Market at Grenlen Virginia Wedding Photographer
Bekah reached out to me back in October about photographing her wedding. She mentioned that they wanted their day to be full of love and have a simple, yet elegant vibe. As soon as I met Bekah, I fell in love with her vision and laid-back vibe. Bekah and I talked for about an hour and a half and I left the conversation feeling as though I had not just gained a client, but a friend.
Bekah and Brendan's wedding day was no exception. The entire day, I didn't feel like a photographer, I felt like a guest. Their day was so full of love, laughter, and Christ, and I was so honored to play a small part. This wedding was absolutely beautiful, but I was reminded at this wedding that it's about so much more than just the flowers and the venue. Big shoutout to Torrin Nelson for helping me second shoot this wedding, partying at the reception, and being insanely talented. Check out the photos from Bekah and Brendan's gorgeous wedding below!
can we talk about this dress for a second? like what the heck! huge shoutout to Ashley Grace Bridal!
literally the most insanely beautiful bridal party!
This was Brendan's gift to Bekah, a print with the coordinates of where they got married, the stars on that night, and a sweet message. UGH!! these two kill me!
Okay, now we need to take a minute to talk about Bekah's gift to Brendan. She's been writing him letters since before she met him, just to give him on the wedding day. TALK ABOUT TEARS!
Originally, Bekah and Brendan were supposed to get married outside, but the weather forced them to move the ceremony inside the greenhouse. Honestly, I think the change was for the better, as the greenhouse was stunning and the lighting was so great inside!
I'm such a fan of the bride doing a first look with her dad, it gives so much genuine emotion.
future brides--take note of the lighting in these photos! this is why you should ensure that your day of schedule allows for some time for portraits at golden hour!
believe it or not, toasts are actually one of my favorite parts of wedding days. I love hearing everyone's stories!
once all the slow dances are done, then the party can begin! this is always one of the most fun parts of the night!
Congrats you two on such a beautiful day, and if you got through this whole blog post, congrats to you! ;)
