The Local Bowl \\ Food truck Branding and Design

For this project, I was commissioned to design and create a food truck. We had to come up with the idea for the food truck, and from there build a brand. This brand would include a truck design, logo, food packaging design and a menu. While I initially struggled with an idea for the food truck, I decided to go with a name that I felt was very simple and clean. Thus, “The Local Bowl” was born. The idea was a build your own style of food bowls. I wanted my brand to be clean, but also rustic and modern. I wanted the food to be healthy, but still appeal to different people. Finally, I wanted to make sure that the design and branding appealed to both men and women. Check out my designs for The Local Bowl below! I’m stoked on how this all turned out!

For this variation, I wanted to create something that would look nice on a lighter background as well!

The concept behind the brown lettering is that it would be wood-burned into the side of the truck.

this pattern was designed by me for various packaging materials. I wanted it to be simple and fairly fun, but still add interest.

This is what the bowls will look like once they are handed out! Making this mockup was seriously so much fun and I’m absolutely in love with it!
