Romantic Fall Market At Grelen Wedding | Virginia Wedding Photographer

As soon as Brittany reached out to me about her Grelen wedding to her Fiance', Matt, I knew these two were something special. Once we chatted via Facetime, I felt more than sure that their special day would be one that I would never forget…and I was absolutely right. These two are the kindest pair I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. After meeting them at their engagement session in March, it felt like we’d become not just photographer and client, but friends. So when their wedding day was calling for pouring rain and dark skies, I felt so sad for them!

But these two made the best of the crappy weather and had such great attitudes about it. The warmth of these two and their incredible bridal party + guests warmed up this cold, rainy, November day, and I’m so honored to have been a small part of it. Check out the photos below!

One of the most special things about Brittany and Matt’s day was the fact that none of the bridesmaids had seen Brittany’s dress before the wedding day. So naturally, when Brittany was getting ready, the waterworks started! and then of course, we had to do a first look with all the girls.

Next, we went and got the bridesmaids for them to have a first look with Brittany’s dress! It was so fun because they’d never seen her dress before and had no idea what it looked like.

Just as we went outside for the first look, it began to pour. These two didn’t let it stop them from having such an incredibly sweet first look!

this is one of my favorite photos I’ve ever taken! the expression on her face is just so sweet!

also the bridesmaids watching the first look from the window is literally one of my favorite things.

Next, we went back to some cover and did Brittany’s first look with her dad! These are always some of my most favorite, most special moments.

Due to rain, the ceremony had to be moved to the inside of the tent, but I think it’s for the best in this case.
